What happens when I hit the free limit?
What the limit is
The free plan counts 35 drives in each calendar month, by the day each one started. OdoTax keeps recording after that — the 36th drive and every one after it arrives Locked. A locked drive is in the list with only the day and time it started: where it went, its miles and its map are kept, and they appear when the drive opens. Until then it cannot be sorted, is not in the totals, and is left out of reports. On the 1st of the month the count starts again.
The Settings tab shows how many free drives are left this month.

A locked drive
A locked drive says Locked in the list and shows only when it started; its places, miles and map stay hidden until it opens, and it is worth nothing yet. Tap it and OdoTax says it is over your free monthly limit, with the plans one tap away. It cannot be sorted, it is left out of the deduction on Home, and a report skips it.

A locked drive
On the site, a locked drive says Locked in the list and shows only when it started; its places, miles and map stay hidden until it opens. Clicking it opens This drive is locked, with See plans. It cannot be sorted, it is left out of the totals, and a report skips it.
See the plans in the sidebar's Go pro card opens them — see below for what subscribing reopens.
When the month runs out
Once a month's 35 are used, Home says You've used all 35 free trips this month and how many drives are locked. Upgrade opens the plans — see below for what subscribing reopens.

If you go pro
Every drive from the moment you subscribe is open. The first time an account subscribes, it also reopens the last 31 days — so a month that went over comes back in full if you subscribe within a month. Drives locked before that stay locked: they are hidden from the list, not deleted.
