What does Reporting year change?
What it changes
Reporting year is the year odo opens on: the odometer totals for each car, and the table of rates in the app. It does not limit anything — a report covers the dates you pick, and every drive stays in Trips.
Change it
- Sign in at my.odo.tax and open Settings → Tax
- Click Reporting year and pick the year
Worth doing in January while you finish last year's log, and back again once it is filed.
In the app
The app has no switch for it: Settings → IRS standard rate (or Your rate) shows the rates for that year, and a report covers whatever dates you pick. It is set in your web account: Settings → Tax → Reporting year at my.odo.tax.
