Drives and sorting
What about the drive to work?
The rule
Home to a regular place of work, such as your office, is commuting, and commuting is personal no matter how far it is — it does not count towards a deduction.
In OdoTax
Mark such drives Commute — on a drive, it is under more. It is kept apart from personal so the report can show it: Schedule C asks how many commuting miles the vehicle did. Name your home and your workplace as places of the kinds Home and Work, and OdoTax suggests Commute for drives between them.
