Which day does a drive count on?
The day where it happened
A drive counts on its date in the time zone where it was driven. That date decides the rate it is priced at, the month and year it is counted in, and which month of the free limit it uses. A drive at 11 pm in New York stays on that day, even though it is already the next day in UTC — and moving to another state later does not move last year's drives.
Your time zone
The app tells odo the phone's time zone every time it starts, so there is nothing to set. It is used for This week and This month, for work hours, and for the few drives that were recorded without a zone of their own.

Settings → Profile → Timezone is the zone the web account uses: for This week and This month, for work hours, and for a drive you add on the site. The app sets it to the phone's zone each time it starts, so change it here only if you do not use the app.
