How do I connect Google or Apple?

Why connect one

A connected Google or Apple account signs you in with one tap, without a code or a password. It is the same odo account either way — the drives do not move.

Connect one on the site

1. Sign in at my.odo.tax and open Settings → Security → Connected accounts
2. Click Connect next to Google or Apple
3. Sign in to that account in the window that opens

This works whatever address the Google or Apple account has — including an Apple ID that hides its email.

Connect one in the app

The app connects an account the first time you sign in with it. Sign out, then on the sign-in screen tap Continue with Google — or Continue with Apple on an iPhone — with the same email address as your odo account. Settings → Security → Connected accounts then lists it.

An Apple ID that hides its email gives odo a different address, so it is connected from the site instead.

Connect one in the app

Android has no Apple sign-in, so Apple is connected from the site. So is an Apple ID that hides its email.

Disconnect one

In Settings → Security → Connected accounts, press Disconnect next to it and confirm. It never locks you out: your password still works, and odo can always email you a sign-in code.
