How do I add a passkey?
What a passkey does
A passkey signs you in to OdoTax with your face, fingerprint or screen lock instead of a code or a password. It lives in your phone or your password manager, such as Google Password Manager or Apple Passwords, and signs you in on the site and in the app.
Add one
- In OdoTax, open Settings → Security → Passkeys
- Tap Add a passkey
- Confirm it’s you when asked: with a passkey or password you already have, or with a code OdoTax emails you
- Tap Add Passkey to save it in Passwords, and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode
It shows under Your passkeys as Apple Passwords.
Add one
- In OdoTax, open Settings → Security → Passkeys
- Tap Add a passkey
- Confirm it’s you when asked: with a passkey or password you already have, or with a code OdoTax emails you
- Tap Continue to save it in Google Password Manager (or the password manager your phone uses), and confirm with your fingerprint, face or screen lock
It shows under Your passkeys, named after the place that keeps it, such as Google Password Manager.
Add one
- Sign in at my.odo.tax and open Settings → Security → Passkeys
- Click Add a passkey
- If OdoTax asks you to confirm it’s you, do it with your password, a passkey you already have or Email me a code instead, then click Add a passkey again
- Save the passkey where your browser offers: with your fingerprint, face or PIN, or on your phone
A browser that cannot make passkeys says so. Add one in the OdoTax app or in another browser.
Add a passkeySign in with it
On the sign-in screen, tap Log in with email, then Sign in with a passkey, and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Once this iPhone has a passkey for your account, OdoTax opens on Welcome back after you sign out: tap Sign in.

Sign in with it
On the sign-in page at my.odo.tax, click Sign in with a passkey and pick yours.
It also confirms it’s you
Before a change that asks you to confirm it’s you — a new email address, another passkey, two-factor or closing the account — OdoTax offers the passkey first. The other ways stay one tap away.
Remove one
Under Passkeys, press Remove beside it and confirm. It stops signing you in to OdoTax on every device; the passkey itself stays in your password manager until you delete it there.
