How do I sign in?

Four ways, all into the same account: a six-digit code odo emails you, a password, Google, or Apple. The code is the gentlest — nothing to remember. With two-factor on, each of them also asks for the code from your authenticator.

2. Enter your email and tap Continue
3. Type the six digits from the email — odo signs you in as soon as the last one is in

A code works for 10 minutes and five tries, and asking again replaces it. An email with no account yet gets one — that is how signing up works too.

Apple asks whether to share your email or hide it. Hidden, odo gets an Apple relay address instead — see below.

Android has no Apple sign-in. If your odo account was made with Apple on an iPhone, sign in with a code sent to the same email — or connect Apple to it on the site: How do I connect Google or Apple?

Which account you land in

Google and Apple lead to the account with the same email address, if there is one. With Apple’s Hide My Email, Apple gives odo a different address, so it becomes a separate account — sign in with the same method each time. Accounts can be linked under Settings → Security → Connected accounts.

A forgotten password

The emailed code signs you in without it. To set a new one: Settings → Security → Password, or Forgot password? on the sign-in screen.

One account, everywhere

The app and your web account at my.odo.tax are the same account — sign in with the same email in a browser and the same log is there.
