How do I delete my account?
Deleting from the app
- In OdoTax, open Settings → Security
- Under Account, tap Delete account
- Confirm it’s you: tap Confirm with Apple if you sign in with Apple, or Email me a code and type the six-digit code OdoTax emails you. Use your password instead works too
- Press and hold Hold to delete account

If you never set a password
An account made with Google, Apple or an emailed code has no password you know, and closing on the site asks for one. Set one first: Settings → Security → Password → Set a password by email. The app doesn’t need one: it can email you a code instead.
Subscriptions
A plan paid on the site stops at the end of the period already paid for. A Google Play subscription is cancelled for you where Google allows it; if it refuses, OdoTax sends you to the Play Store to cancel it there. Deleting the account doesn’t cancel an App Store subscription — only Apple can stop Apple’s billing — so cancel it on your iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Thirty days to change your mind
Closing signs you out everywhere at once, and 30 days later the account is removed for good: its drives, reports and map pictures with it. Until then, the link in the email OdoTax sends, or simply signing in again, reopens it as it was.
Signing in to a closed account shows This account is closed, with the date it goes. Reopen my account brings it back as it was — drives, vehicles, reports — and a plan with paid time left comes back with it. Leave it closed goes back without reopening anything.

If you no longer have the app
Close it from the site as above, or email hello@odo.tax from the address on the account.
