How do I sign in?

The ways in

Four ways, all into the same account: a six-digit code OdoTax emails you, a password, Google, or Apple. The code is the gentlest — nothing to remember. With two-factor on, each of them also asks for the code from your authenticator.

With a code by email

  1. At my.odo.tax, enter your email
  2. Click Email me a sign-in code
  3. Type the six digits from the email

A code works for 10 minutes and five tries, and asking again replaces it. An email with no account yet gets one — that is how signing up works too.

With a password

  1. At my.odo.tax, click Sign in with a password instead
  2. Enter your email and password — on a shared computer, untick Keep me signed in
  3. Click Log in

An account made with a code, Google or Apple has no password until you set one: How do I set or change my password?

With Google

  1. At my.odo.tax, click Continue with Google
  2. Pick your Google account in the window that opens

With Apple

  1. At my.odo.tax, click Continue with Apple
  2. Sign in to your Apple Account in the window that opens

Which account you land in

Google and Apple lead to the account with the same email address, if there is one. With Apple’s Hide My Email, Apple gives OdoTax a different address, so it becomes a separate account — sign in with the same method each time. Accounts can be linked under Settings → Security → Connected accounts.

A forgotten password

The emailed code signs you in without it. To set a new one: Settings → Security → Password, or Forgot? beside the password field on the sign-in page.

One account, everywhere

The app and your web account at my.odo.tax are the same account — sign in with the same email in a browser and the same log is there.
