A drive didn’t show up — what do I do?

Add it by hand

A missed drive can be added from the phone:

1. Open the Drives tab and tap +
2. Tap From and To and pick a saved place, or search an address — OdoTax measures the road between them, and you can change the Distance if you went another way
3. Set When, the vehicle and the purpose
4. Tap Save drive

1. Sign in at my.odo.tax and open Trips
2. Click Add a drive
3. Enter From and To and pick each address from the list — OdoTax measures the road between them
4. Set the time and classify it — the ••• menu has your purposes — and add the vehicle, parking, tolls or a note if you want
5. Click Save drive

How it shows

In the app and on the website, a drive you add says Added by hand, one Claude added for you says Added by Claude, and one you imported says Imported from Google Timeline. In the PDF a drive you add is marked with an asterisk (*), one Claude added with a dagger (†) and an imported one with a double dagger (‡), so a reader can tell each from a recorded one; the CSV says which in its How logged column. How far back

A drive added or copied by hand can be from any day between January 1 three years ago and today — in the app, on the website and through Claude alike. A day that has not come yet cannot be added.

Why a drive gets missed

Almost always the phone, not the road: tracking left on pause, a permission that slipped in a phone update, or a drive shorter than 0.2 mi. A drive recorded without a connection waits on the phone and shows on Home as waiting to upload. Settings → Tracking configuration shows every requirement with a green tick or a red issue — if a drive went missing, start there, then Tracking stopped working.
